Campers will experience a fun-filled week learning about animals in the wild. Hands-on activities, stories, and visits from Utah animals are included. Our class will collect bugs, listen to bats and hear stories from a real bear hunter. This class will be taught by BYU graduate students. Limit 15 campersOoey, Gooey, Kablooey! Campers will learn why scientists call this the “blue planet”. Learn about earth; from local rocks to rockets and enjoy a visit from mountain climbers in search of mysteries. Campers will learn all about how clouds form, and will even make a few of their own. We will create tornadoes, hurricanes and weather of all kinds! Limit 12 campers Microbes and Microscopes August 4-8 (registration deadline July 28)

Cost: $95.00
Campers will experiment and learn about the world that surrounds us down to the smallest detail. Our class will investigate and learn about our world while collecting water samples, bugs and everything in between. Campers will learn to view the world through a “scientist’s eye” and gain appreciation for every little thing. Dr. Alan Harker, a Professor of Microbiology at BYU, will teach this camp. Limit 15 campers.
Art Camps
Mystery Masterpieces
June 16-20 (registration deadline June 9)

Campers will learn about the great artists while discovering their inner-artist. Colors, textures and styles will come alive for students as they spend a week learning to create like a master and unlock the mystery masterpiece. Limit 8 campers per class
Art in Science
June 30- July 2 (registration deadline June 23)
Grades 3-6

Cost: $55.00
Children will learn how artists have been creating beautiful art for centuries. They will study plants and learn to extract the colors to make natural paints and dyes. At the end of this camp students will use this new knowledge to make their own beautiful hand-made sketchbook to take home. Limit 8 campers
Art Around the World
July 7-11 (registration deadline June 30)

Our students will take an imaginary journey across the continents as they learn how artists around the world have found inspiration and created unique arts and crafts. Campers will travel to Africa to make animal masks, Australia to practice their best aboriginal art and many other countries. Each child will leave with a greater appreciation for artists who capture the world around us! Limit 8 campers per class
Recycled to Remarkable
August 4-8 (registration deadline July 28)
Grades K-2 10:30-Noon Cost: $65.00
Grades 3-6 1:00-3:30 pm Cost: $95.00
Students will learn how to use everyday recycled items to create remarkable sculptures. We will spend the week stretching our imaginations and learning the importance of conserving while building an entire underwater world, consisting of giant sea creatures and everything else under the ocean blue. Limit 8 campers per class
Creative Writing Camp
Think, Imagine, & Create

Cost: $95.00
Campers will uncover the magic of language as they write and illustrate their own books. They will be guided and led through the process from brainstorming to the final copy. Each student will receive a hardbound, professionally published copy, of his or her literary masterpiece. Limit 8 campers per class
